As you’re reading this, we’ve just hit 100 episodes… and I still can’t quite get Jordan to speak directly into the microphone! But honestly, I think that’s part of what makes it all so special.

So why have I kept banging on about reaching episode 100? Simple really - this whole journey started as a learning experience for Jordan. He wasn’t a trained broadcaster when we began, but I think everyone would agree he’s come on leaps and bounds over the last 99 episodes. And that’s with just a couple of hours of recording each month!

Imagine what he could do with a bit more time, support… and maybe even some upgraded equipment.

At the same time, the radio world Jordan loves has changed massively. So many of the local stations we grew up with have disappeared, replaced by big corporate networks. But the flip side is exciting. Podcasts have opened up a whole new world, and Jordan is right in the middle of it.

The original goal is still there too:

one day, meet and interview Amanda Holden.

And who knows… maybe that really will be the final chapter of the Follow the Dream journey.

But there’s no rush. Jordan is loving every minute of this (with the odd stressful moments thrown in!), and that’s what really matters.

That said, to take things to the next level, we do need a bit of help.

The next step is to grow Follow the Dream into something bigger -reaching out to local organisations and building a project where Jordan becomes an ambassador. The idea is to inspire others to follow their own dreams, or simply use their creativity through podcasting as a way to express themselves.

I’ve tried to keep this project going without passing on the real costs of studio time, equipment, travel, and all the behind-the-scenes work, but to keep moving forward, we’re going to need some support.

Whether it’s helping us cover travel for interviews, new equipment, or just keeping everything running, any contribution — big or small — would make a huge difference to Jordan’s journey.

And if you’re not in a position to donate, you can still help massively by sharing our content, following along on social media, and spreading the word. It all counts.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read our first blogs, it genuinely means a lot.

Now… over to you, Jordan.

Let’s keep following that dream.
